Focus of Work
My research interest includes the use of high throughput technologies to study the basis of bacterial evolution, pathogenesis and emergence of drug resistance. I am fascinated with bioinformatics discovery of biomarkers through comparative genomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics as targets for monitoring treatment, development of vaccines, diagnostics as well as targets for drug development.
