Overview of Work
Accounts Unit prepares the Institute Financial Statement by processing all the institute financial requests using the right regulatory laws, financial standards (IPSAS) and generally acceptable accounting standards. Our focus is to make ready all financial requirements on time to aid decision making. The Unit is poised to use the right regulatory framework to prepare quality financial reports by applying the best electronic means to shorten the processing time to achieve the timely production of all needed financial reports.
The unit conducts three (3) CPDs every quarter as part of its training arrangement and collbaoratees with the College Finance officer, the Central Accounts Unit of Finance Directorate, and the Director of Finance, all at the University of Ghana.
