Ms. Momoko is the Chief Representative of the JICA Ghana Office and assumed that position in March 2023.

She holds a Master of Arts in Globalization and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) in Sussex University, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Keio University in Japan.

She first joined JICA in 2002 and served as the Representative of the JICA Ethiopia Office between 2006 and 2010. She later served as the Deputy Director, Private Sector Development Group, Industry Development Department and later the Senior Director, Africa Division 2, Africa Department where she served until her appointment as Chief Representative, JICA Ghana office.
