The Program
Kina Foundation, a non-profit organization and registered with the Registrar General of Ghana, in collaboration with the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR), College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana, invites applications for a 4-month certificate course in Vaccine biomanufacturing.
This course is designed to provide practical hands-on skills in the industrial vaccine biomanufacturing process and prepare applicants for the work environment in vaccine biomanufacturing facilities in Ghana and across the African continent. The course will also broaden the knowledge base of applicants in subject areas that are relevant for the biomanufacturing process.
Expected Duration
The course will be for a duration of four months and students will have classroom and practical sessions for the first three months and further hands[1]on training in specialized areas for the last month.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants to this programme must meet the following minimum requirements
• Have a BSc, MSc or MPhil degree in related subjects including biological
sciences, biochemistry, chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences

How to Apply
Prospective candidates should complete and submit an application package
(electronic only) to the Administrator, Kina Foundation Vaccine Biomanufacturing Course. The application should include the following:
a) An application letter (stating areas of expertise, and motivation for applying for the course in no more than 200 words
b) An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae;
c) Copies of relevant educational and professional certificates and transcripts
d) Two letters of recommendation (professional)

Applications should reach the Administrator by 10th February 2024 (17.00hr
GMT).
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview by 15th February 2024 and successful candidates will be notified by 20th February 2024.
